Dear Jellybean,Okay, so I absolutely hate where I live. I live in a downstairs apartment from my uncle. I'm not rich, even in the slightest, so I can't afford to move. I live with my mom, her boyfriend, and 6 cats in a 4 room basement apartment. I mean, I've seen worse, but I'm still really embarrassed by it. It's gross looking to me and I don't want to have anyone over because of it.
How can I get over this? I obviously can't change anything about it and I clean it and stuff. but the kitchen floor is ugly, the bathroom is gross, there's cat fur everywhere, there's a giant hole in the ceiling, etc... how can I become less worried about this?
