Once your event is over, the easiest way to donate the cash you raised, is to put it all into a bank account. Then you can write one cheque to the charitable organization.
Take pictures during your event, and send those to the charity too, along with a letter describing your fundraising event. Then the organization may use your event as an example to others. Who knows - you could even end up in a commercial campaign!
