Dear Jellybean,

So at my 8th grade graduation ceremony, there was this guy in my grade making a speech and at the end of his speech, he said he loved me out loud on the mic so everyone heard it. But after, he didnt say anything and he pretended like nothing happened. After a few days, I found out through his comments to one of my best friends that it was a dare for money. After that, I was pretty mad. About two weeks ago, he told my friend that he likes me now. I don't know how to face him. I'm not sure if i should forget everything he did. Everytime i think of that time, it makes me really disappointed. He told my friend that he wouldn't give up on me, since we're going to the same high school. Please give me some advice.
