Dear Jellybean,
I have curly hair and it gets windblown to just tangled from the wear of the day. If I brush it buh bye curls! Brushing it flattening my curls and makes them lose all shape! How do I fight the tangles without ruining my do?

Dear Curly Hair Chick,
It's true that curly-haired girls should skip brushes, after their hair dries, to avoid flattening and frizzing out their curls. When your hair gets messed and neats fixing up, your fingers will do. Spritz on some spray product, such as a curl-scrunching gel, curly-hair hairspray, or a defining pomade, from a spray bottle. Then use your hands to scrunch sections of curls, and/or twirl spirals around your fingers to smooth them and put them back in place.
