Dear Angel,
You are definitely tempting fate with a fifty percent attendance record. Not many schools would pass you with that kind of spotty attendance, and even if you make good grades, you could find a nasty surprise waiting for you at the end of the year.
I think you need to figure out why you're so bored with school. If you're academically gifted and your classes aren't challenging to you, talk to your teachers. Explain that you need some extra enrichment, and ask if you can do independent study projects, or if there are other options, to get you more involved in what you're supposed to be learning. Maybe there are advanced classes that you can take, too, that will even help you to finish school sooner, or improve your chances of getting into a great college.
Or maybe you're bored because you don't understand what's going on in class, so you just glaze over. If that's the case, again, you need to talk to your teachers and ask for their help. Ask them how you can get extra help, whether that means tutoring, switching into different classes, or more one-on-one teacher time, to become more comfortable with the schoolwork and what's expected of you.
Sometimes people with mental or physical health issues can become bored by everyday life, too. Watching television all day could be a sign of low energy, from a lack of proper nutrition, or even a chemical imbalance or mental depression. So I'd suggest that it's a good idea to go for a checkup at your doctor's, to make sure that everything is okay with your health. It's quite possible that your issues are organic, and that medication, therapy, or a combination of both could snap you out of your current malaise.
I know you just feel like lazing around these days, but do try to find energy to do something about this funk that you're in. You don't want to look back on your life years from now, and realize that you messed up your chances, just for watching TV.
