Dear Writer,
Wow, what a hostile jerk she is. I don't advise walking up to her for a confrontation, but I do think you have to start standing up for yourself more. I'm not the biggest fan of sarcasm in general (because I think it's a way of avoiding communication), but in this case, I think you should let her have it.
Next time this horrible girl yells something at you, you could turn around and say loudly, "I feel like such a celebrity, the way you and your group follows me around. Excuse me, I have to go catch my limo." Or, "Wow, you're so obsessed with me, it's almost flattering."
Do the same thing when her little followers stare at you, basically pretending that they are paparazzi who are following your every move. Put up your hand and say something like, "No pictures, please! I know you're obsessed with me, but a girl needs her privacy."
Keep up the sarcastic comments back to this mean girl and her sad little friends, and hopefully you will (1) show them that you're not going to let them walk all over you without a response, and (2) embarrass them into shutting up and leaving you alone.
If at any time, however, you feel physically threatened by them, do NOT think you have to deal with it alone. Tell the ringleader girl that you're going to report her to the school if she and her minions don't back off, and if necessary, follow up on that. Your school has a legal obligation to protect your safety while you are there, and you have every right to demand that they live up to that.
