Dear Jellybean,
I know this girl who is getting teased because she said she was getting a new cell phone if her dad would let her, but she didn't get it that night. So the next day she kept on getting teased about it. Now there is a group of people who are teasing her and keeping making mean jokes, like asking her if she is getting it tonight or tomorrow. I really won't to help her but I don't know how. Jellybean what would you do if you were in this situation?

I would act like the only person with any maturity. The next time they started in on her, I would just say, "What is your guys' problem? She has a phone, she doesn't, who cares. Really. Anyway, where do you want to go for lunch?"
In other words, do your best to make them feel stupid and immature for teasing her. You'll be helping her... and them. :)
