I really like one of my guy bestfriends and I'm pretty sure he likes me too because we were flirting a lot at my party(he is NOT a player by any means). We text everyday and sometimes hang out. When we hang out, its nice because we don't try to impress each other, we just be ourselves and connect really well. So the problem isn't the guy, its my friend. She is boy-crazy and insists that guys cast some sort of "spell" over her that she can't think straight. She totally flirts with him everytime she sees him, but doesn't like him(she flirts with every guy with a pulse pretty much, but she isn't like a player, she just flirts). It makes me obviously uncomfortable, and you can tell my guy friend is weirded out. How can I tell her without making it seem like I think she's something she isn't?

You can't. If he was your boyfriend, it would be different. Then you could say, "I know I'm probably being paranoid, but sometimes I feel like you're flirting with my boyfriend, and it makes me feel uncomfortable." But this guy isn't your honey - at least not yet - he's just a friend, and he's your BFF's friend too.

So hold your tongue, and hope for the best. If your guy friend is weirded out, maybe HE will say something to her, or she'll eventually pick up on his signals and back off. In any case, her flirting isn't going to affect your crush's feelings about you.

If he likes you (as more than a friend), he's going to like you whether or not anyone flirts with him, because all he will be thinking about is you. Think about it - that's exactly what it's like when you're into someone - everyone else becomes sort of invisible. So don't worry, keep flirting with him, and good luck with the more-than-friends thing!
