Dear Jellybean,
theres this guy i'm starting to like but the problem is my friend also likes him too... he's single of course... i did not tell her though... she asked me if i did but of course i said no...but these past two weeks he's been talking to me more & he never really talks to her...he also has been kind of flirting... i never even liked him like that at first but i just started to because he has this great personality! do you think it's ok if i date him? ...even if my friend is crushing on him also?!

Long-time readers of my advice already know what I'm going to tell you... and that is nope, it's not okay. Think of how you'd feel if the situation were reversed, and your friend started dating this guy, after knowing you really liked him, and having lied to your face about even liking him. You would feel betrayed, angry, hurt, and like never being friends with her again.
Now you know how she feels. Do you really think going after some random guy who you're "starting" to like, is worth throwing away a friendship? Only you can answer that question... but I hope your answer is no. :)
