I insist on the movie of my choice and we end up seeing what I want to see.

No way, I am dead-beat. He should be rubbing my neck!

3. Do you ever find yourself refusing minor requests from your guy (such as grabbing him something at the store, passing a message for him, etc.?

All the time, he can take care of himself.

I'd refuse to go, and I’d insist that he didn’t go either.

I go out with my friends as planned. My sweetie will be fine alone for the day.

I cancel with my friends to visit my sick honey, but my gloomy mood makes it clear that I am making a big sacrifice.

I arrange to visit my honey for a few hours, then hook up with our friends later.

I cancel out on my friends so that I can stay home and nurse my sweetie back to health.

Go to the concert of course, it’s not me who has to work!

I make sure that my guy knows I feel terrible that he can't join me, but I go to the concert anyway with a friend.

I acknowledge that the situation stinks and explain to my sweetie why I really want to take this opportunity.

I give the tickets away to a friend. I’d rather meet my boyfriend after he finishes work and just hang out, than go to the concert without him.
