What's more, your obsession with trivial details means that you find it harder than most to cope when things do go wrong. Try to accept that people make mistakes, learn how not to sweat the small stuff, and learn to take chances on new things and new types of people sometimes. You don't want to be a total Monica!

So take a more active interest in school, a hobby, a job, or some other activity that inspires you, and you'll see your self-esteem soar.

Do your friends ever call you a flake? You're definitely not a control freak, which is good, but your life may seem a bit TOO out-of-control sometimes. You have a tendency to daydream and you may have been accused of flakiness before. It's great that you're so laid back, but don't space out on what makes you a good friend, like paying attention to what's going on in the lives of your friends, or showing up when you're supposed to meet someone. With just a little more attention paid to your surroundings, you can be "normally in control" person.
