Dear Jellybean,
My friend (we'll call her Flo) has a serious makeup problem! She wears bright neon blue mascara, and then uses the same shade of eyeliner and puts the eyeliner on thick. Her eyeliner almost always smears around her eyes, and since it's the same shade, her eyelashes blend in.
It DOES NOT look good, but she has convinced herself otherwise. We don't want to be rude, so we have given her subtle hints like doing her makeup and then saying it looks SO cute on her! Since she is a redhead, we do thin brown eyeliner and some mineral green shades of eyeshadow, with some curling black mascara. She told us herself that she thinks her blue looks better.
How can we get the message across to her without being rude? I would appreciate it SO much!
