Getting Guy Friend Back
Dear Jellybean,A few years ago I met this guy, we did the same sport at school and he was the best guy friend ever. I talked to him a lot and could go to him with everything. I liked him on and off for a while, but last year he asked me out and I didn't like him at that time, so I turned him down. He took it kind of hard and I felt bad. It was towards the end of the year and I didn't see him much over the summer.
Frustrated with Old Friend
Dear Jellybean,I've had this friend for eight years, and we've been best friends for about six of those years. However, for the past few years, we've been having so many problems. For all of elementary school, I was literally her only friend, and she was my only friend too. Then, sixth grade began, and I made about 5 or 6 new friends. My friend would then constantly ask me why I was ignoring her for these new friends and if I liked them better than her. She was so clingy. Eventually she became friends with them too, but that was just the start of my problems with her.
Friend Stealing Her Crush
Dear Jellybean,There's this guy who's had a crush on me for a few years, but we've just become friends in the past year. I've started to like him too, but I wanted to wait until this dance next week to tell him. I told my friend (from another school) about him, and how much I like him. She wanted to meet him, so I brought her to a football game last night. The two of them met and hit it off really well... a little too well. She's kind of a flirt, and she really turned on the flirting with him. They even ended up leaving the game and getting something to eat together, just the two of them, and now I think that he likes her, not me.
Be Mean to Be Popular?
Dear Jellybean,I started high school this year and I got into this great crowd. Basically, I got adopted by the populars at my school, the really pretty people who everyone looks up to. Most of them are actually pretty nice but there is one girl who reminds me of Regina in Mean Girls. She is basically the leader of the crowd and everyone goes along with whatever she says.
