Dear Jellybean,My ex and I have known each other our whole lives and even after we broke up, we still stayed pretty close. We tell each other almost everything and we used to talk all the time. But lately he has just cut off all communication with me.
I recently saw him at a party and when I said hi, he didn't even look at me. I know this sounds pathetic, but I truly think it's because of his girlfriend. She knows how close we are and I know she doesn't trust me. Actually, I'm pretty sure she hates me and I wouldn't be surprised if she told him not to talk to me.
It's killing me not knowing for sure why my ex is acting this way. He is one of my best friends and if he is willing to throw away our friendship because of what his girlfriend thinks, I don't know how I'm going to cope. What should I say to him? And what should I do if he does decide to stop talking to me for good?
