Shhh... Keep It Quiet!
It might seem like a great idea to get your girls' input on your plan. Watch it though - people gossip, even your friends. If you talk to people about what you're up to, your crush could hear about it before you even ask him. Then, instead of thinking that you're confident and bold (which he will when you ask him out), he might think you're too immature or clueless to be discreet about things. Pick A Place
Before you pop the question, decide where you want to go on your date. That way, if he asks what you have in mind, you'll have an answ
er ready. Suggest someplace that's casual, but where you'll get a chance to hang out, without other friends around. The movies or a pizza shop might do just fine.
Get Prepped
Practice what you're going to say to your crush. Say it out loud! (In front of the mirror, alone in your room, of course). That way, even if you're nervous, you'll sound more natural. That's key - because if you sound cool, he'll be more likely to say yes!
Feel Your Best
Wear your favorite outfit. If you love how you look that day, you'll feel more confident - and cute! But keep it real. Don't pile on the makeup if you're usually fresh-faced, or do anything complicated with your hair. He'll notice that you look different, and might think you're trying to be something that you're not (which is not so attractive).
