Ok, the ridiculous amount of sex scenes/nudity is kind of annoying. I don't get HBO at my house so I have to watch it at my parents and I'm pretty sure my dad thought I was watching some weird medieval porno yesterday. Other than that I love it, although I wish they didn't kill Boromir off because I really liked him.

Who else watches and what do you think of this season so far? Did anyone read the books it's based on?

I'm not really looking forward to the dragons getting into it. I'm not a big fan of that kind of stuff, I can kind of see it going downhill from there. Hopefully it won't though. I like reading fantasy stuff like that but not watching, it's too fake for me.

Yeah, just because they're on HBO and can show that stuff doesn't mean they need to go overboard with it. I don't remember last season being that bad? I mean there were a good deal of sex scenes but these first few episodes of season 2 were pretty ridiculous, especially the second episode. I had to to turn it off and wait til my parents left to finish watching it. My mom kept walking in and trying to have conversations with me while people were having like hardcore sex or walking around fingering each other on horseback haha

I haven't read them either, I'll probably wait til it's over as well. I don't know anybody who has read them, that kinda sucks that your friend said they're not that good. Do you know how many there are? Like is it a big series or just a couple books?

It was pretty funny. The skit was that they had a teenage boy on the set at all times to tell them how much nudity to show lol.

I felt they kinda toned down the sex scenes in the past couple episodes? At least compared to the first two.

My fav character right now is Arya. I also like the Targaryen girl, I didn't really like her during the first season.

really? i find daenerys really annoying. she wants to be queen but isn't cut out for it at all. all she says is "fire and blood!! i am the mother of dragons!! rightfully mine!! iron throne, gimme! i'm an entitled cow!" we get it shut up

yeah the sexual stuff is a bit overboard, especially cuz it's not nearly that prominent in the books. theres a sex scene maybe 3-4 times per book and its not that descriptive. it makes me a bit mad how they make tyrion out to be this big ***** enthusiast because hes my fav character and in the books the first time hes described having sex is with shae, who he's obviously into. the show makes him seem too scummy.

the books are better imo but the show is awesome too.

I think it's because I hate Joffrey obv and I don't like anyone else who wants to be king either (I liked Renley but he died) so now I'm finding her to be the best option. I just want someone to kill Joffrey pretty much and I feel like it's going to be her with her dumb dragons. I also hate Theon I hope he dies soon.

I like all of the Starks but none of them want to be king. I also like Tyrion a lot.

Yeah I hate Theon almost as much as Joffrey. I feel like Theon will get killed off pretty quickly.

This show kinda pisses me off. My guy has been into this show and he noticed I raised an eyebrow to a couple of the sex scenes and he's like, "Oh don't get all femi****, it's the same as your Sex and The City." It took all I had to let this one slide. But it's not the sex that gets me, it's the way women are portrayed in this show. In SATC, women aren't beaten, raped, degraded, or being servantile to men in bed or in general. He doesn't understand that it's not nudity or sex that offends me, it's the portrayal that women are being casted as slaves to men.

But I tried to shrug it off and getting into the story, but I just can't because this kind of thing just doesn't interest me.
