LOVE my Lenovo.
LOVE my Lenovo.
i have a 13" macbook air. pros: solid state drive (starts up in less than 2 seconds, loads files from disk extremely quickly), mac os x, weighs less than a pound. cons: it only has 128 GB of storage, i5 processor and mediocre graphics card... but its not my main computer, i have a desktop with an i7, sweet graphics card and 2 TB harddrive for gaming/media hoarding. mac book airs are awesome for what i intended it for, ie. portability. and if you aren't a gamer the system specs are definitely sufficient.

I have a macbook air 11", the 2010 model ( it doesn't have... lightning rod? thunderbolt? I dunno, some sort of file transferring thing that I have no use for that came out in the 2011 model). It's super basic but it meets my needs of light browsing and word processing just fine.
I would say the pros are that I have never had to do any real maintenance on it ( like running virus scans) as I don't think Macs get viruses. I also like that I can pretty much walk in to any mall in T.O and have my laptop diagnosed on the spot rather than having to deal with sending it in to get repaired. I've also never experienced very long wait times with Apple. 9 times out of 10 they just hand me a replacement if there are any significant issues then send me on my way.
The con would be the price had I bought it brand new from Apple, but I bought it after the 2011 model came out from someone looking to upgrade and pretty much got it for a song. It was only 650 and is in pristine condition with all the wrappers and allGotta love craigslist/ kijiji.
I like to store BellyBeans in my JellyButton for safekeeping.
I have a Sony Vaio, it was quite an investment for me (about £700) but it's been SO worth it. I've had it nearly two years and have only encountered one problem (the AC adapter plug in the laptop stopped working) BUT Sony fixed it for free and their customer service was excellent which is always a bonus imo.
I have an Acer netbook and I love it. I needed something portable - I bring it to work everyday and to class. It's perfect for that. The only thing I really need it for is internet browsing and Microsoft Word; I don't play games or anything where I would need really good graphics and I use my desktop for pictures/music. I've had it for 4 or 5 years now and I've never had any issues.
GO DUKE BLUE DEVILS
I've got a Dell 5030 I believe. I like that it was pretty cheap and I got a warranty so I didn't have to pay for a repair. Um it's fast and has like 500 gb memory or something. I just use it for basic browsing and school. Also, it's black and shiny and has circles all over I think it's cute.![]()
k i just came in here to say that this thread has a ridiculous amount of views. there really must be a ton of lurkers on jb lol

So, I now have a 13" MacBook Air. And...gotta say, I love it.
