Hey guys, so long story short...I'm going to study abroad in Europe this fall. I'm hitting up a few countries with my class but before that starts, I'll be traveling early with a friend to sight-see.

We're going to Munich for a week (probably hit up Stuttgart as well) and mostly visit architecture there, but there will be PLENTY of time to see other stuff too...but what?
Also, I'll be spending a couple of months in Paris, so I will have a few free weekends to explore.

Sooo, besides obvious and famous architecture, anyone have any ideas on what to do and tips on Munich and Paris? (I'll be in Munich in August, Paris in October/November...just in case there's festivals I should see)
