i text my boyfriend good morning every morning, and i'm looking for some creative ways to say it. because "good morning" and "morning" are pretty lame after saying it for almost a year.

i know i'm going to say "good morning starshine, the earth says hello"

do you guys say 'good morning' in any cute or creative ways?

I usually joke around by saying "Good morning sunshine!" or "Morning sleepy." Something of the sorts.

i really don't do it everyday, i exaggerated a bit.
and you must understand, we don't talk on the phone and for the past nine months, he's been away at college and i didn't get to see him except for some weekends.

really it's just a way of beginning a conversation between us for the day.
one of us always sends the other "good morning. how are you?"
it's not always me initiating it.

but i can see how you perceive it as rather clingy.
