Dear Daddy

Rate this Entry
I wrote this letter to my dad, but I wont be giving it to him.

[Dear dad,

We used to be majorly close, I mean, I was a definate daddy's girl, but now youre not around as much, youre always at work. I promise the mill will survive the weekends without you. I miss having supper with you, where you ate with us at 5 instead of at 8 or 9 while we talk about how the mill is going. I know work is important to you, but family should come first. I know I enherited some of your genes, cause I too, always have to have something to do. We are impaient, mom and my sister are carefree, they can wait.
Ive been impaiently waiting for you to come back to us. You say all the time that its almost ready to start up, but everytime I think the wait is over, something delays you again.
Adventures are becoming fewer and fewer. Mom takes us everywhere. A trip to the mall with you is great, I grab your arm and you drag me around walmart. I like to pretend my arms holding yours will eventually pull you home from the mill, and youll stay there. But the tugging of my arms isnt doing anything yet. Eventually my efforts will do something, but Ill have to keep waiting impatiently for now.]
