How did you two meet, and was it love at first sight?
We've known of each other ever since we were little kids, but we were both very very different at the time, so we never talked. I was the little punk, and he was the nerdy kid. In high school, the people we were both dating at the time were friends, and when they would talk, we would talk. After a while, I realized that I had feelings for him more than my boyfriend at the time, and I wanted to be with him. I found out later, that he had felt the same. After we were both single again, we started chatting more, and hanging out, and before you know it, we had our first kiss! It was then I felt the spark of magic, and knew I had deep feelings for him.
Who asked who out?
One night we were walking along the docks by the water. I was leaning over the dock's edge, when he put his arms around me from behind and asked if I would go out with him. Of course I said yes. ;)
How long have you been dating?
Eight months.
Do you have pet names for each other?
No, not really. I mean, nothing creative. I usually just call him honey, and he calls me baby. Pretty simple.
What do you like the most about your boyfriend?
He has such a big heart and is the sweetest. He is probably one of the most caring people I know. I also love his optimism about life. He really knows how to bring up everyone's spirits around him. Kyle really has that spunk and charisma that people absolutely love to be around. Not too many people are like that anymore. I could be extremely sad, or upset yet he can always cheer me up. He treats me like a princess. :D
What did you guys do on your last date?
Our last date, we went on a little vacation for the weekend for a getaway before college started. He had spent all evening cooking a very special dinner. We both dressed fancy, and had a candlelight dinner, talked, and enjoyed each other's company. Afterward, we went putt putting along with my best friend and came home but then I fell asleep.
What's your favorite thing to do together?
We do lots and lots together! Everyday's a new adventure with him... it's always exciting.
How do you communicate most (phone/text/IM/FB/etc)?
Mostly, we talk in person. :) But other than that, we use the phone, or emails.
What's the sweetest thing he's ever said/done for you?
I can't pick one favorite specific thing. But I do love it whenever he shows up at my front door with flowers, and I ask "What are these for?", and Kyle always says, "Just because, I wanted to surprise you!" That always makes my day.
What's something he does that bugs you?
Not much really bugs me. The only thing that drives me up the walls, is whenever he starts to get hyper and crazy from not eating for a while. Unfortunately, I become his target of interrogation.
