How did you two meet, and was it love at first sight?
We met at our school's homecoming football game in October 2007. We did have an automatic connection. We started talking and ended up hanging out the whole game.
Who asked who out?
Even though we hit it off at the game, he had a date to the homecoming dance the next day with a different girl at another school. She asked him out and he turned her down. The next week at school I told him I liked him having no idea about the dance. Two days later he asked me out.
How long have you been dating?
2 years.
Do you have pet names for each other?
Not really. We call each other hun (kinda like honey, but shorter I guess).
What do you like the most about your boyfriend?
That I can be myself with him. I'm loud, goofy, rock n roll, a total "blonde" and just a complete dork and he loves that about me. He also has this fun goofy side that will just make you laugh for hours. He makes me feel good. :D
What did you guys do on your last date?
We went to the fair and rode rides, ate carny food, checked out the barn animals, and watched lawn mower races. It was really fun.
What's your favorite thing to do together?
Just hang out and goof off. We just do things on a whim.
How do you communicate most (phone/text/IM/FB/etc)?
We mostly talk on the phone when we're not together.
What's the sweetest thing he's ever said/done for you?
He was really shy when we first started going out together and wanted to tell me something important. We were on the couch watching a movie and he put it in a text on his phone and then handed his phone to me to read. It said, "you are my everything." It was the sweetest thing ever. I couldnt stop smiling.
What's something he does that bugs you?
He likes to dramatize his stories. Not lying, necessarily, but makes things bigger than they really are. Aka kitten meowing-to-bear growling.
What's "your song", if you have one?
We don't really have and one song in particular, but since he is shy, when a song comes on the radio that expresses some emotion he feels towards me he'll tell me to go to that station and listen to that song if we're on the phone. They are always the sweetest ones, and I never expect when he's gonna do it. If we're hanging out he'll just look at me and either sing the song or ask me if I'm listening to it to make sure I am. I usually know what he means when he asks.
