SHOULD SHE WAIT FOR HIM?

Dear Jellybean,

i went out with this guy for 7 1/2 months then we broke up. We got into like a huge fight one night and we broke up and then we were like on and off for like 2 more day and then we officially broke up. We tried talking it over and everything and i tried as much and as hard as i could to tell him how hurt i was and how much i "loved" him but all he said was thats sweet. He also told me though that he would go back out with me when i get back from my trip in april. Then about a week later he asked out this girl but he still likes me and he was talking about cheating on his girlfriend with me because he likes me. He said he just feels that if we go out in a month or 2 well feel like we did when we started going out, but i'm scared that if i wait maybe hell like this girl more because shes the kind of girl that doesnt hold long relationships but she told him she would stay a long time with him. So, i dont know if i should wait for him or not. I like him ALOT ! and he knows that i just dont get why he wants to go out with her especially if he acts the way he does to me. So should i wait for him ? or do you have any advice on how to get him back?

Don't wait for him. You can do so much better than a guy who "offers" to cheat on his girlfriend with you. Hint: If he'd do this to her, he'd do this to you too.

Sometimes, a guy does or says something that tells a girl exactly what kind of person they are. This guy has given you some important information. Now it's up to you to be smart, and realize that he's not the kind of guy who girls can trust. Not just the one he's dating now, but any girl. It's not about the girl. It's about him.

He's also showing a huge lack of respect for you, your feelings, and your time, by leading you on and expecting you to put your life on hold for a couple of months, while he has fun with his for-now girlfriend. Show him, and yourself, that you respect yourself too much to be treated this way, and move on with your life.
