IS IT HER BRA SIZE?

Well, I'm 11 years old and and I take a size 34C bra. I have my period and everything. My friends don't know why I complain because almost all of them are flat. I have older friends who give me advice and stuff but I guess, I just have been reading myjellybean since I was 9 and I visit everyday. So, anyways, my question has sometime to do with my body and dating. Well, a lot of guys crush on me, but a girl I know is really good friends with some guys that like me and she hates me, but she says that they just like me for the size of my boobs. It really made me sad, but I don't know what to do.Because where I live, everyone even has they're first kiss around the age of 11 and it's possible around here. So, I mean, do I just completely give up on all guys? I mean, what if they DO like me for my boobs? What should I do?

Dear Too Big,

First of all, never believe anything said by a girl who hates you. It's very likely that girl is just being spiteful, and since she's jealous of your figure, she's picked on that as a way to make you feel bad. There could be absolutely no truth in what she says, so don't get too worked up about it.

The truth is, for us girls, it's always hard to know why a guy likes us. Is it because we wrote that amazing poem, or because we were wearing a short skirt when we read it out loud in class? Or is it because we remind them of that girl they were in love with last summer?

What I'm telling you is, don't jump to conclusions and swear off boys. But do take things slowly, with any boy, so you're sure he's with you for the right reasons, before you give anything away - either physically, or emotionally. That's a good rule for any girl to follow, because it can prevent heartbreak. Guys who are only interested in one thing, generally get bored and go away pretty fast, if you don't give it to them. The ones who stick around, are the ones worth spending time worth.

And don't let some catty girl's comment make you forget that you've got so many other assets, besides your chest, that make you someone worth crushing on. You know that's true. Just keep reminding yourself of that.
