SHOULD SHE SAY SOMETHING?

Dear Jellybean,

I went out with this guy for almost 6 months and he broke up with me because he said religious reasons. He said that he still loves me and then starts liking my best friend. She's liked him longer than i've liked him. They are not boyfriend and girlfriend but go kissing each other and doesn't tell me and hides it from me. A few days later I finally found out after I begged another one of my friends to tell me. I was hurt because i still like him a little and that my best friends hid it from me. What should I do? Should I say anything? Or should I just move on since it seems like he's moved on even though he says he still loves me?

Dear Writer,

I believe in judging a guy by his actions, and not his words. Regardless of his claims of love, this guy broke up with you and is messing around with your friend. I'd say that's pretty clear proof that he's full of it.

Don't say anything to him - you've wasted enough time on this guy. You can do so much better - and so can your friend probably, but she'll have to find that out for herself. You just work on getting over him, convincing yourself that you deserve to be treated much better than that, and moving on with your life.
