RESPECT OR NO ATTRACTION?

ok so i feel like i have no on else to turn to. i have been dating this guy, and i like him a lot. we are really open with eachother so i know all about his past. hes done some things hes not proud of but who hasent? anyways the rumor from all the kids that used to go to his school is that he likes to go really fast with a girl physicly. he really respects me and my bounderys but we have been dating for a while now and his kissed me once. my friends think it could mean two things eather u thinks i am different from all the other girls or that he doesnt find me attractive in that way. it didnt used to bother me that he only kissed me once but the few ppl i have told seem so surprised and almost weirded out. i just dont know what to think anymore please help!

We've come to a sad place in the world of dating, when a guy who treats a girl respectfully has to come under so much suspicion. Why not take a leap of faith, and believe that you're special enough to be treated with the care that you deserve? If your relationship is meant to be, it will develop at its own pace, and you'll have more kissing eventually. Those people who are giving you doubts are just creating drama, where there really is none. He's dating you, so he obviously finds you attractive. How nice that he's respecting you too - he obviously gets that you're worth it.
