SECRET KISS WITH HER EX

So I have been really missing my ex. And recently he stayed the night here at my house because his parents were fighting and he needed somewhere to stay. But the thing is i kissed him while he was here. Only because he said he was going to break up with his gf. Now they are still together and i feel awful. I was really good friends with this girl too. What should i do?

You both messed up, more than once. He shouldn't have asked to stay over at your place when his folks were fighting - he should have gone to a guy friend's house. And you shouldn't have let him stay. After that, the kiss was practically inevitable. (Did you ever see the O.C. episode where the kids get trapped at the mall overnight, and Ryan and Marissa end up sharing a tent? Too much temptation between exes is dangerous!).

He shouldn't have told you he was going to break up with his GF either... but maybe at the time, at that moment he was gazing into your eyes and feeling all vulnerable because his folks were fighting, he really meant it. Now though, it seems nothing is changing, and his girlfriend is still in the picture - which leaves you out in the cold.

So what should you do? Nothing! Do not - I repeat, do not - ever let anyone know what happened. Don't tell his girlfriend (it wouldn't be helping her, it would just hurt her), don't tell your other friends (in case they blab) and don't even talk to your ex about it. You two committed the crime, and now your penance is to keep it a big, dark secret.
