Dear Jellybean,
I always wear my hair in a ponytail because i just dont have time to straighten it in the morning. do you have any advice?

Dear Same ol' style,
You could learn to style your hair wavy/curly, or style it the evening before instead of trying to do it in the morning. But if neither of those options appeal, and you're bored to tears with the same old ponytail, there are other options for get-ready-quick hairstyles for school days, such as:
Do your hair in a half-up, half down style. Pull up the half above your ears, secure it with a cute clip, and let the rest hang down. This simple change can magically give you a whole new look in seconds. Plus, if your hair is textured or curly, the contrast between the smooth top and ringletty bottom will look totally cute.
For times when your hair is looking helpless in the morning, try this 10-second trick. Spray hair with volumizing spray, then pull on a thick headband or folded scarf. Voila, you're done!
This is a ponytail, but with a cute update (we stole the idea from the red carpet). After you pull your hair into an elastic, grab a thick strand of hair from underneath the ponytail and wrap it around and around the elastic. Then secure the end with a bobby pin below the ponytail.
If you don't like a tightly pulled-back pony, strut your stuff in a messier (but still polished) do. Lightly tease the roots of your hair (by back-combing them) before pulling hair back into a high ponytail. So pony-like!
